The Jubilee Line Extension, the Heathrow Express Link and the Pimlico Tunnel were historically three long-running contracts where Ethos Recycling has been substantially involved. Each of these projects are testaments of our commitment to dedication, reliability, cost effectiveness and environmentally sound operations.

We are one of the first organisations in the UK to respond positively to the changing attitudes and legislations in the area of landfill. With the emphasis moving firmly away from the concept of dumping to recycling, we have been in the forefront of developing alternative uses for inert material that would otherwise be sent to landfill and we have invested substantially in a state-of-the-art plant to assist in materials recovery and recycling.

The innovative approach has been developed in parallel with Ethos’ business of spoil removal. Whatever the tonnage or material we are able to remove it using our own fleet of vehicles, on time, regularly and with total reliability throughout the year. We provide a dedicated team of excavators and operators who load and unload material to provide an all-round service. The most dramatic application of the recycling process is the use of recovered materials in golf course construction, an area Ethos Recycling already has a proven-track record. Muck away is the excavation of materials from recycled products and not landfill that are used to provide full construction, landscaping and management services.

In the last ten years we have been one of the main suppliers of London clay that is extracted and removed from tunnelling operations within the country. We participate in a number of joint ventures involving engineering projects. We also provide aggregate type six and type two produced from recycled products and distributed to the industry. This in turn enables us to complete the whole loop in recycling everything that we collect.
